Whether you're planning to study at a university or a TVET college, this workshop will give you a clear understanding of the funding options available and how to maximise your chances of securing financial support.
You'll learn the differences between bursaries, scholarships, NSFAS, SETA funding, university financial aid, student loans, learnerships and apprenticeships, and discover which options are best suited to your circumstances. We'll also show you where to find legitimate funding opportunities, how to avoid scams, what selection panels look for in successful applicants, and how to prepare a professional funding application.
As part of the workshop, you'll participate in a live Funding Application Clinic, where you'll begin organising your application documents, identify funding opportunities you qualify for, and start drafting your motivational letter with guidance from our facilitators.
